Understanding Falls Prevention
As we age, natural changes in our strength and balance can increase the risk of falls. However, falls are not an inevitable part of ageing and can often be prevented with the right support. Supervised exercise programs specifically designed for falls prevention help maintain physical health, improve functional capacity, and ensure you remain steady and confident on your feet.

About the Program
The Still Standing Program is a light, supervised exercise program tailored for older adults. It focuses on reducing falls risk while improving your confidence, mobility, and long-term independence in a supportive group setting.

Eligibility
The Still Standing Program is designed specifically for community-dwelling older adults who want to improve their safety and physical activity levels.
- Aged 65 years or older (55+ for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people).
- Living independently in the community.
- Experiencing concerns about balance or a history of falls.
- Motivated to improve strength and mobility.
- Able to participate in light-to-moderate supervised exercise.
