Am I eligible for Medicare rebates for this program?
Most programs at New Edge Health are eligible for Medicare rebates if you have a current Chronic Disease Management Plan (GPMP/TCA) from your GP. Our administration team can help you verify your referral status.
Do I need a medical referral to join?
While you don’t strictly need a referral to participate as a private patient, a GP referral is required to access Medicare or DVA funding. We always recommend consulting with your doctor before starting a new clinical exercise program.

Yes, most private health funds provide rebates for Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services under their 'Extras' cover. Please check with your provider using the relevant item codes which our team can provide.
