Medicated weight loss

Supporting your journey with medical weight management through comprehensive clinical guidance, lifestyle coaching, and evidence-based care.

About the Weight loss Program

Our Weight Management & Strength Support service is designed for people undertaking medically supported weight loss who want to maintain strength, muscle mass and physical function while losing weight.

The program combines Exercise Physiology, progressive resistance training and ongoing monitoring to help you exercise safely and confidently throughout your weight-management journey. The service may include:

  • Initial Exercise Physiology assessment

  • Baseline body composition scan

  • Individualised resistance and cardiovascular exercise program

  • Supervised gym sessions where appropriate

  • Regular progression of your exercise program

  • Repeat body composition monitoring

  • Strength and functional testing

  • Support to transition into independent exercise or ongoing gym membership

  • Communication with your GP or treating team where appropriate

Who Is It For?

This service may suit people who are:

  • undertaking medically supervised weight management

  • losing weight and concerned about maintaining strength and muscle

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the role of the medical practitioner versus the health coach?

Our medical practitioners handle all clinical assessments, health monitoring, and GLP-1 medication prescriptions. Your health coach provides the ongoing lifestyle guidance, behavioral support, and personalized exercise planning to help you look after your long-term wellness.

Can my lifestyle coach adjust my medication dosage?

No. All clinical decisions, adjustments, and medical monitoring are managed strictly by our qualified medical team. Lifestyle coaches focus purely on supporting your nutritional habits, physical activity, and daily routines.

How do the clinical and coaching teams work together?

We believe in unified, multidisciplinary care. Our medical practitioners and health coaches regularly collaborate, sharing insights to ensure your clinical progress aligns safely and effectively with your behavioral and fitness development.

Do I need a doctor referral to work with a health coach?

While you do not strictly require a referral to start coaching, a clinical consultation with our medical team is essential if you are utilizing GLP-1 therapy, ensuring complete medical oversight for your safety.
